Angkor Wat attracts countless tourists every year. The front door in the photo above was taken before repair 
work began.
Currently, the repair work is in the final stage. I think it will open soon.

 

 

 

 

 

For now, you have to go through the pontoon bridge in the photo above. Tickets are checked in front of the 
entrance.

As you walk on the pontoon bridge, there is a protruding part that is a photo point. Go in there and take a quick 
photo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

When you cross the pontoon bridge, you will come to an edge entrance. At the edge entrance, you can visit 
animals such as horses and elephants.
This is a door used by low-ranking people. So the railings are low.
The second is predicted to be a place where subjects used to go, and in the middle is a place where kings, royal family, and other equivalent people lived.
It is predicted as the door you used to go through.

 

 

 

 

 

The first photo is where the stone statue of the lion or the gatekeeper used to be. In Korean during wars during 
the Khmer Empire, such as in Thailand and Vietnam.
In other words, to cut off "chi", the lion's tail was broken first, the cow's horns were cut off, and the god statue's arms, legs, and neck were cut off. The second photo shows bullet marks from the war between the Khmer Rouge and Vietnam during the Khmer Rouge. no see.

Khmer = Cambodian people
Rouge = That’s what women apply to their lips.
The time of the Khmer Rouge was a communist state. Not now!!
Siam (Siam) = Siem = Thai people
Siem Reap = drove out Thailand = Siem Reap is the name it was called after French colonization.
If you look at the weather information app, it will be marked as Siem Reap, not Siem Reap.

 

 

 

 

 

Go through the outer entrance and go inside. As you enter, there are small buildings on both sides, and after 
passing those buildings, you will see a lake on both sides.

 

 

 

 

It is usually written as "library", but you would expect it to be a "library" rather than a library.
The reason is that there is no ancestral rite culture in the West.
Since most intellectuals died during the Khmer Rouge, it is ironic that the next country with the most knowledge was Cambodia.

If you look on both sides, you will see a lake. The lake is called the “Mirror of Time” and can be viewed from 
any angle and at any time.
The Angkor Wat building is projected into the water. It is a building that condensed the great science and 
knowledge of the time.

The Apsara reliefs in the Angkor Wat building were sculpted taking into account the optical illusion of 
perspective when viewed up close and from a distance. The Apsara costume is worn up close, but from a 
distance it creates an optical illusion as to whether it is not worn or is worn.

This is the second floor corridor. If you pass by the quasi-arch-shaped structure for a short distance, you will see Huindoo mythology and scenes of war being carved on 
the walls.

 

 

 

 

 

This is Angkor Wat seen from the celestial plane (3rd floor). You must be careful when going up and down the 
heavenly world.

After looking at the celestial world on the 3rd floor, look at the cross corridor in the center of Angkor Wat on 
the 2nd floor and the surrounding bathhouses.

I go to the back gate (east gate), not the main gate (entrance, west gate).​

The entrance to all temples is from the east, where the sun rises, but Angkor Wat's main entrance is from the 
west. In ancient times, kings were identified with gods.
As a king, I am devoted to Lord Vishnu, so even if I die, I am not dead.
For reference, Lord Vishnu can be reincarnated 9 times. There is also a popular belief that his last 
reincarnation was as Buddha(?).
Normally it has 4 arms, but when the world is in chaos it has 8 arms.
If you pass the pontoon bridge from the entrance and look at the second entrance to the outer corridor, you will see a large stone statue of the god Vishnu.
But it has the face of Buddha.^^

 

 

[Some truths about Angkor Wat that I would like to correct]

Angkor Wat was discovered by Henri Moore of France. - no.
Before that, it had already come from the Netherlands, Spain, and even Japan.
And, the indigenous people were already living there. As proof, he said his daughter died unfairly.
There is a stone tower built by the villagers to complain about injustice to God.

There are libraries on both sides of Angkor Wat. - It's speculation.
It should be viewed as a storage facility.


Angkor Wat is the only temple whose main entrance is on the west.
