Beng Mealea Temple is a historical attraction that is located about 60 kilometer northeast of Siem Reap city and one of the most mysterious temples at Angkor.

This temple was built as a Hindu temple. Its primary material is sandstone, and it is largely unrestored, with
trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps. Beng Mealea Temple was built during the reign of king Suryavarman II in the late 11th century to early 12th century.

Nowadays, many parts of the temple are collapsed by various factors such as nature and war. If visitors want
to go inside the temple, they have to walk on the wooden bridge built by the APSARA national Authority.
