((1) New Year (Khmer New Year)
Every year from April 14th to 16th, the Khmer New Year celebrates the birth of the Buddha for the first time. On
the occasion of the New Year, pagodas across the country raise Buddhist flags.
(2) Plowing Festival
Every year, May 11 is Plowing Day, a solemn day in Cambodia, a day off from government organizations.
A plowing ceremony is held in a special field.
(3) Water Festival(Bonn Om Tuk)
From October 31st to November 2nd, every year there will be 3 days of water activities to thank the angels and
nature. During the Water Festival, there will be 3 days of fun activities such as floating water. Water and moon
offerings.
(4) Kathin Festival
From October 28th to November 28th according to the Buddhist era, it is an important holiday for Buddhists in
Cambodia and also a Kathin festival activity for one month after the rainy season.
