Bandei Srei, with its beautiful red sandstone reliefs

Banteay Srei, considered the most beautiful temple among Khmer ruins, is not large in size but is in a good state of preservation.
This temple is worth a visit as the artistry of its reliefs is outstanding.

This temple is located about 1 hour and 30 minutes from downtown Siem Reap toward Phnom Kulen.
The word Bandeisrei itself means “beautiful woman.”
Although it is not large in scale, it is a temple with reliefs made of red sandstone, and the reliefs are delicate and beautiful.
The green part in the upper right corner is Phnom Kulen Mountain.
