Angkor Wat is located in the northern part of Siem Reap, about 7 km from the provincial capital and is one of the largest Hindu temples dedicated to other major religions in the world.
This temple was built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, located in the capital of Yasodharapura of the Khmer Empire, a temple representing Mount Sumeru dedicated to Vishnu.
