Cambodia also began imposing value-added tax (VAT) on cigarettes.

A 10% value-added tax must be applied to companies importing and distributing cigarettes starting August 1.
Notice has been given. For that reason, cigarette prices are currently rising.

Although this is bad news for smokers, there is no country where you can buy cigarettes at a better price.
I am still satisfied. Retail prices are good even though they have gone up by about 15%.

Still, as you can see, a pack of Esse costs 4,500 riel. $1 is 4100 riel, so the price is still reasonable.

There are not all types of Korean cigarettes. There are only some. The prices are still very reasonable compared 
to Korea.

You can easily find it at any roadside store.

 

I often buy cigarettes at duty-free shops in Korea, but the moment I arrive in Cambodia, I hear “Oops!”
It comes out naturally.

The above three are always recommended. First of all, the prices for all three above are very reasonable.
